What a great end to a long week. Last night we went to Picnic in the Park and had a great time. The cover band played some great songs and it was nice to be outside. It was almost 90 degrees, but it felt much cooler since there wasn’t a bit of humidity. Next week we will probably be headed out there again to hear MercyMe playing some Christian rock music.
It was nice to sleep in this morning too. Then I got up and mowed the yard and dug up a piece of grass around one of the sprinkler heads in the front yard. It’s been leaking for a while, but looks to complicated to fix so I will probably just tell the landlord to have someone take a look at it. Besides, I still need to get the oil changed in the Honda today and hit Costco for some groceries.
